Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) with strong T-SQL expertise to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing our database systems while ensuring high performance, availability, and reliability. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions Monitor database performance and implement improvements Perform database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance Troubleshoot database issues in a timely manner Collaborate with developers and other IT teams to support application needs Implement indexing strategies and query optimization techniques General Housekeeping such as Create/Maintain Maintenance Plans, Create/Monitor Disk Usage , Monitor/Update Certificates Required Qualifications Proven experience as a SQL Server DBA • The application is in house C# and JavaScript using .NET 4.6 with a remote Developer Strong expertise in T-SQL (queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions) Experience with performance tuning and query optimization Knowledge of backup/recovery strategies and high availability solutions (e.g., Always On, clustering) Familiarity with database security best practices Experience with SQL Server versions 2016/2019 Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of ETL processes and tools (SSIS) Familiarity with reporting tools (SSRS, Power BI) Relevant certifications (e.g.,
Microsoft Certified:
