Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data management sector, is seeking a Database Administrator IV- to join their team. As a Database Administrator IV-, you will be part of the IT Department supporting the Cloud Data Management team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

$68/hr What's the Job? Manage and maintain Azure SQL Databases, ensuring high availability and performance optimization Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve database performance Perform query tuning, schema adjustments, and index optimization to enhance efficiency Support cloud migration efforts, including data movement and synchronization between on-premises and cloud environments Assist with disaster recovery, backup, restore, and security measures to safeguard data assets What's Needed? Minimum of 5 years of experience in Database Administration, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Database Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platform, including multi-region configurations Proficiency in query performance tuning, troubleshooting, and database monitoring Knowledge of replication, CDC (Change Data Capture), and NoSQL databases such as Cosmos DB (preferred) Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment What's in it for me?
