Senior SQL Developer

A health services network in New Jersey is seeking a new Senior SQL Developer to join their team, designing, developing, and optimizing complex SQL solutions for critical business operations and data workflows.  About the

Responsibilities:

Designing, writing, and optimizing complex SQL queries and database objects Developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines Analyzing and tuning underperforming queries and database objects Collaborating with data architects and modelers Building and maintaining database objects for reporting and analytics Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

7+ years of hands-on SQL Development experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field Expertise in SQL Server (T-SQL), Oracle (PL/SQL), PostgreSQL, or MySQL Experience with ETL/ELT tools like SSIS, Informatica, dbt, or Azure Data Factory Experience with Python or a similar Scripting language Strong skills in Query Optimization Experience with Data Warehousing concepts Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with Cloud Data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, or Azure Synapse Exposure to Data Governance and Metadata Management Experience in regulated industries such as finance or healthcare Knowledge of version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
