GED Full Job Description Description:
Center for Hope and Safety, located in Bergen County NJ, is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting victims of domestic violence and their children. We believe every person has the right to be safe, empowered and free from violence. In this position, your primary responsibilities will include effectively maintaining donor and volunteer information in the Little Green Light database, preparing acknowledgments for both in-kind and financial gifts, running reports as requested and performing regular maintenance of the data (coding individuals, address changes, updating data tables, etc.). Position also supports use of the Givesmart events platform and provides general administrative support to the department. Working part time, 21 hours per week, with a mix of remote and in-person work, ideal candidate must reside within commuting distance of Rochelle Park, New Jersey.
Responsibilities:
Update Little Green Light database with information for donations, new donors, changes to current donors and Board of Directors Produce gift acknowledgments for donors and take ownership of the process, including printing letters, envelopes, and preparing signed letters for mailing Regularly scrub data to ensure best practices in database management are followed Send in honor of/in memory of cards to designated friends/family Work with finance team to reconcile financial gifts received
Requirements:
High school diploma Hands-on experience in Little Green Light database is highly desirable Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and highly proficient with mail merges with Microsoft Word Must be a team player willing to collaborate Must have great attention to detail Familiarity with laws/regulations related to charitable giving is desired Interest/availability to help with fundraising events is a plus We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
