What You'll Be Doing As a Remote Hands Field Engineer , you'll work as part of a team delivering high-quality support services to our data centre clients in Dallas.

Your core responsibilities will include:

Installation & Deployment Equipment staging, racking and stacking, labeling, and inventory Installing internal hardware components (HDD, memory, etc.) Infrastructure data cabling and connectivity setup Configuration & Support Power cycling, console port setup, and soft reboots KVM/IP switch installation for remote configuration Assisting with new and existing device configuration Troubleshooting & Maintenance General system and network troubleshooting Circuit and connectivity testing with third-party carriers Cleaning, shipping & receiving of equipment Reporting & Communication Regular updates to the London-based team while on-site Detailed post-deployment reports Ensuring B-612 systems are updated with accurate ticket data What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who is technically capable , team-oriented , and proactive . ✅ Required Experience 2+ years of hands-on experience in Remote Hands in data centre environments Strong hardware knowledge: replacing components, system assembly Understanding of network infrastructure and IP fundamentals Solid hardware troubleshooting and diagnostic skills ✅ Core Attributes Exceptional responsiveness Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

The Details Contract Only :

You must be self-employed and able to provide proof of status.

On-Site Role :

Must be based in or near Los Angeles and available for on-site support.
