Technician Specialist Contract:

Reno, NV (5 Days Onsite)

Responsibilities:

Move and install servers and network switches in designated locations. Inspect hardware for physical damage and perform basic smoke testing to verify functionality. Rack, cable, and configure servers/switches based on provided wire maps and standards. Ensure all cabling is neat, organized, and compliant with company standards. Coordinate with network administrators to validate connectivity and correct cabling. Install additional hardware components such as NICs, drives, and memory modules. Support server unboxing, setup, and deployment activities. Conduct audits of servers, spare parts, and consumables inventory.

Requirements:

1 2 years of experience in server, hardware, or data center support.
