Job Summary:
We are seeking a Data Center Technician Level 2 (DC Tech L2) with hands-on experience supporting servers and network infrastructure in a data center environment. The role will focus on rack & stack, cabling, hardware replacement, server troubleshooting, and basic Windows/Linux administration. Top 3

Key Responsibilities:
Rack, stack, cable, and support servers and network switches. Replace and reroute network/server cables and replace optics on server and switch ports. Install and replace server components such as RAM, CPU, drives, and other hardware. Configure and troubleshoot iLO/iDRAC and server management interfaces. Work with network and system administrators to troubleshoot server-related issues. Perform server firmware upgrades and hardware diagnostics. Configure server IP addresses and default access credentials according to standard procedures. Follow approved wiring diagrams and validate network connectivity. Coordinate replacement hardware procurement, installation, and defective equipment returns. Provide hands-on support for ad hoc server and network requests. Conduct physical inspections and inventory audits of servers, components, and consumables. Document hardware changes, troubleshooting activities, and equipment status.
Requirements:
2+ years of hands-on Data Center Technician/Server Technician experience. Strong experience with rack & stack, cabling, and server installation . Experience with iLO/iDRAC and server hardware troubleshooting . Knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems. Experience replacing server components such as RAM, CPU, drives, and optics. Basic understanding of networking and server connectivity. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills. Ability to work 100% onsite in Sparks, NV . NIT01

$35.00
•$38.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
