Job Description:
As a Database Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the database architecture that supports our organization's information systems. You will play a crucial role in optimizing database performance, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements. The Database Architect / Developer will work with all subject matter expects from departments within the Office of the Chief Operations Officer and other Syracuse University departments. This work includes integration of data driven business processes, development of data interfaces, critical tactical and strategic analytical activities, data security and access, as well as development of in-depth dashboards and reports. The Database Architect / Developer will perform development (coding), analysis (troubleshooting), and production support, and provides overall expertise in the area of data warehousing, data integrations and reporting applications.
