JOB SUMMARY
The ETL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise data integration solutions that enable business intelligence, analytics, and data-driven decision-making. This role combines advanced ETL development, database development, data integration, and business intelligence support while collaborating with cross-functional teams, data architects, AI teams, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in
T-SQL, SSIS, ETL
development, performance optimization, and data warehousing concepts, with experience integrating data across cloud and on-premises environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable, high-performance ETL solutions and data pipelines to load data into enterprise repositories and data warehouses.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain complex T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and database objects.
  • Build, enhance, and support SSIS packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
  • Extract and integrate data from cloud platforms, including Azure, Snowflake, and other enterprise data sources.
  • Stage and prepare data for downstream analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives.
  • Collaborate with AI and analytics teams to understand data requirements, perform data mapping, and provide high-quality datasets.
  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot SSRS reports and reporting solutions.
  • Diagnose and resolve production support issues, data integration failures, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Monitor scheduled jobs, manage ETL workflows, and ensure successful execution of data processing activities.
  • Analyze and optimize query performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement performance improvements.
  • Partner with Database Administrators to resolve database locking, blocking, and performance-related issues.
  • Review existing system integrations and ETL processes, recommend enhancements, and lead implementation efforts.
  • Conduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and production stability.
  • Support, maintain, and continuously improve business intelligence and data integration solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, process documentation, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and data quality standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in ETL development, database development, data integration, or business intelligence solutions.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Advanced proficiency in T-SQL, including stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, and performance tuning.
  • Extensive experience developing and maintaining SSIS packages.
  • Experience with SSRS report development, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling techniques.
  • Experience integrating data from multiple sources, including cloud and on-premises systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting production issues and resolving complex data-related problems.
  • Experience optimizing SQL queries and improving database performance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale data integration environments.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience working with Azure data services and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Experience with Snowflake data warehousing solutions.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML data preparation and dataset management.
  • Experience with data governance, data quality, and master data management practices.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or other business intelligence visualization tools.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and automated deployment processes.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise reporting and analytics environments.
CERTIFICATIONS
    Microsoft Certified:
    Azure Data Engineer Associate.
      Microsoft Certified:
      Azure Database Administrator Associate.
      • Snowflake SnowPro Certification.
      • Microsoft SQL Server certifications or equivalent data platform certifications preferred.
