•Electrical, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient functioning of cutting-edge data center infrastructure. This is your chance to be at the forefront of energy and technology solutions, working alongside industry leaders to deliver lasting impact.

Overview:

In this pivotal role, you will lead and support electrical commissioning activities on data center projects, focusing on high-impact testing, equipment start-up, and system performance validation. Your work will directly influence the operational performance, safety, and efficiency of complex electrical systems, helping clients meet their strategic objectives.

What You'll Do and Achieve:

Lead all electrical commissioning tasks, including testing (QA/QC, Functional Performance) and system start-ups, ensuring they meet design and safety standards. Participate in onsite activities that support data center commissioning—covering owner L4-L5 as well as supporting L0-L3 activities. Collaborate directly with clients, project stakeholders, and contractors to optimize operational performance and meet project milestones. Document activities related to L2/L3 commissioning and oversee L4/L5 testing, ensuring accuracy and quality. Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes and standards, including NFPA, NETA, and NICET requirements.

Must-Have Qualifications:

10+ years of progressive experience as an electrical commissioning specialist, with expertise in utility infrastructure, power systems, low voltage, building systems, and facility operations & maintenance. 2-3 years of focused experience in data center commissioning, particularly in documenting L2/L3 activities and leading L4/L5 testing. Knowledge of NFPA, NETA, and NICET electrical testing and code requirements. Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience. Ability to pass a background check and US citizenship is required.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Industry-recognized commissioning certification. Certifications like IR thermography Level 1 or 2, AWS or similar L4 lead, NFPA 70E, OSHA 10/30. Experience with PQMs and working knowledge of construction processes. Residing in or near the Washington DC or Northern Virginia metro area (expenses covered for the right candidate outside of this area).
