šŸ”Ž QA/QC Technician - Data Center Quality Audits šŸ“ New Albany, OH | On‑Site | Monday-Friday (Day Shift) Do you know what "right" looks like—and can prove it? If you're detail‑driven, standards‑focused, and think like an auditor rather than an installer, this role was built for you. We're seeking a QA/QC Technician to perform quality audits inside large‑scale data center environments. This role comes after installation teams , ensuring telecom and structured cabling work meets design intent, performance specifications, and industry standards. šŸ‘‰ This is not an installation role. It's focused on audits, inspections, testing, documentation, and corrective actions. āœ… What You'll Do You'll be a key guardian of quality and compliance. Perform daily QA/QC inspections and audits at assigned sites Audit completed installations including: Telecom equipment Copper & fiber cabling Rack layouts and cable dressing Use established QA/QC checklists to identify: Non‑conformities Potential risks Opportunities for improvement Produce clear, professional inspection reports and documentation Communicate findings effectively with supervisors, project teams, and leadership Partner with management to recommend corrective and preventive actions Stay current with
BICSI, TIA, OEM
specs, and internal quality standards Assist with training or quality best‑practice reinforcement when needed Occasionally support installation work if QA/QC workload slows (not routine) šŸŽÆ Who We're Looking For You think like an auditor , not just a technician. Must‑Have Skills & Experience 2+ years of structured cabling experience Strong working knowledge of: Fiber and copper cabling Pre‑terminated cabling systems Rack dressing and layout standards Demonstrated QA/QC, inspection, or auditing mindset Exceptional attention to detail Ability to identify issues and clearly document findings Independent, self‑managed work style Professional verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation Nice‑to‑Have Prior data center experience Fiber optic or low‑voltage experience Learning Management System (LMS) exposure Telecom, technical support, or OSP experience 🧠 You'll Thrive in This Role If You… Know what standards‑compliant work should look like Enjoy finding issues before they become problems Are comfortable calling out non‑conformities professionally Prefer verification and accountability over hands‑on installs Think critically and document thoroughly šŸ’¼ Work Environment & Schedule On‑site, active data center environment Monday-Friday, typically 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Occasional overtime (sometimes required) Usually based at one site, with limited travel for support as needed ⭐ Why This Opportunity? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
