The goal is to provide a seamless flow of information throughout the company, considering both backend data structure and frontend accessibility for end-users. Duties and Responsibilities Strong analytical skills Display aptitude for problem solving Strong desire to continue as a database administrator Demonstrate willingness to stay current in field standards and practice Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Solid background in administrating and deploying a large-scale system Strong communication skills with ability to push technical issues to resolution in a fast-paced environment Day-to-day management activities of production databases for system operations. This includes monitoring, troubleshooting, change management, database upgrades & installs, creating backups, and restoring data Design database architecture for large scale, production-quality services Assist developers in application data modeling Participation in daily stand-up discussions and iterative, ongoing database development work Self-motivated with the ability to identify needed processes using best practices Education/Experience Bachelor of Science degree in related field and relevant work experience a plus. Environmental Conditions Indoor climate-controlled environment. Moderate to quiet noise level Physical requirements While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally and in the written form.
