Job Description As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will serve as a technical leader and trusted partner to some of the world's largest technology companies and mission-critical clients. You'll lead the delivery of complex, high-impact projects—guiding mechanical design from concept through execution while ensuring technical excellence, consistency, and performance. In this role, you will lead project teams, provide direction across disciplines, and take ownership of the most complex design challenges—performing advanced calculations, overseeing technical documentation, and ensuring quality across all deliverables. Your expertise will be critical in driving solutions for large-scale infrastructure projects, including data centers and central utility systems. Beyond project delivery, you will play a key role in mentoring and developing engineers across the team, elevating technical capability, and influencing best practices. You'll collaborate closely with clients, internal leaders, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, reliable solutions that support high-demand environments.

You bring to the team:
Strong communication skills and ability to lead client and team interactions Proven experience leading complex projects and engineering teams Ability to operate as both a strategic leader and hands-on technical expert Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering 15+ years of mechanical engineering experience Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) Data Center experience (preferred) Central utility or large-scale infrastructure experience (preferred) Revit experience (preferred) Strong track record of mentoring engineers and elevating team performance Expertise in troubleshooting complex issues and driving effective solutions #LI-DD1 Additional Information Olsson specializes in engineering and design, client advisory services, planning, field services, and environmental.
