Job Description

Summary of Position:
This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the structured cabling and network infrastructure within the data center facility. Pull, dress, and secure cabling Install support structures like ladder racks and cable trays Accurately label cables and devices in accordance with data center documentation standards Ensure proper functionality and compliance with industry standards Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as testing connections and checking equipment performance Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities Carry and load materials on jobsite and maintain inventory Read and understand blueprints and diagrams Safety training as required by position Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed
Essential Education and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to think critically and problem solve efficiently Strong attention to detail Ability to communicate, listen effectively, and work well with customers, employees, etc. Must have a valid driver's license
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Experience working with telecommunications systems
Physical Demands:
Ability to climb ladders, stand, reach and hold objects for extended periods. Must be able to work both outside and inside during all weather conditions Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
