Bachelor's degree SSIS Database software proficiency Full Job Description SQL Developer Position Summary The SQL Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SQL Server databases, reporting solutions, and data-driven applications that support organizational operations and strategic decision-making. This role requires strong analytical thinking, technical expertise, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Conducts data analysis; designs and develops standardized management reporting tools Assists in writing applications that interface with SQL databases Develops and deploys process improvements, reporting, and analysis that is accurate, complete, and timely Collaborate with departmental and functional teams to resolve data or reporting issues Provides support to management by producing reports and analyzing large datasets for special projects Assists in developing and implementing technical standards Develop database schemas, tables, and data dictionaries Creates complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development Develops best practices for database design and development activities Ensures stability, reliability, and performance of databases Perform all other duties assigned by the Supervisor. Education & Experience Requirements Required Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Science, or related field 3-5 years of experience with SQL Server and at least 1-2 years working with SSRS and SSIS Skills & Competencies Strong analytical skills and a business mindset Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi‑task Strong written and verbal communication skills Self‑motivated with the ability to work quickly and independently with minimal supervision Experience with SQL Server 2016 Administration Familiarity with BI technologies Physical Requirements / Working Conditions / Behavioral Expectations Ability to utilize equipment including but not limited to: telephone, computer, designated software, MS Word, Excel, printers, calculators, fax machines, and other pharmacy-related equipment Ability to walk, stand, sit, and reach on a frequent basis 0% travel required Ability to work independently and in a team environment Presents a positive image of self and the Company, demonstrating competence, reliability, self‑control, honesty, and professional appearance Demonstrates sensitivity to the needs of others, showing appreciation and respect for the dignity of all people Take necessary measures to ensure the work area and Company environment remain safe, neat, clean, and professionalSimilar remote jobs
