W e are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Database Administrator to join a research and trading development team responsible for developing and deploying leading edge mission critical financial trading applications. You will join in the management of proprietary and Sybase database systems to that facilitate management of large scale time series databases. As this environment continues to grow we seek a Database Administrator to work on all aspects of our databases, from high performance online transaction processing (2000tps) to data warehousing (250G+ servers) issues. This is a fast-paced/demanding environment. The user base consists of 20 technical and 20 non-technical users.
