The Database administrator is responsible for analyzing and maintaining data from vendors. This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate looking to enter the workforce. If you are flexible, motivated and want to join a growing company, then this is the role for you! Key Responsibilities Maintain process maps and pricing data from vendors. Coordinate the installation, configuration, and maintenance of database servers and applications. Analyze and identify errors presented in databases and applications, in turn determine the root cause and possible solutions. Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner. Provide proactive and reactive data management support. Coordinate and communicate with vendor IT departments. Perform other duties as needed.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Competencies:
Ability to organize/analyze large volumes of data. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to function well in a team environment, display professional maturity and interact with all levels of management. Ability to handle multiple priorities, including the ability to make clear and timely decisions.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree ideal. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with the ability to quickly learn various in-house software applications. Aptitude to work with minimal supervision, set goals, create, and implement action plans and monitor progress towards goals. Prior experience in IT related role.
