Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a dedicated Oracle Database Administrator to join their team. As an Oracle Database Administrator, you will be part of the Database Support team supporting critical data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent collaboration abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

  • What's the Job?
  • + Perform Oracle database administration including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
+ Manage database backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability. + Create and manage user accounts, define access controls, and implement security best practices. + Troubleshoot performance issues and bottlenecks, applying optimization techniques to enhance database efficiency. + Collaborate with developers to optimize queries and improve overall database performance.
  • What's Needed?
  • + Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
+ 6+ years of Oracle DBA experience in a production environment. + Knowledge of database admin tasks, backup/restore, security, performance tuning, data encryption, and PL/SQL. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail. + Strong problem-solving skills and a customer service mindset to deliver support with excellence.
