SQL Developer (Azure) MSI Recruiting - 2.0 Fort Lauderdale, FL Job Details Contract $50 - $65 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Performance dashboard reports Data model design Dashboard development Commercial use (data warehousing systems) Cloud analytics services Data visualization software proficiency Data Integration (Data management) Cloud data warehouses Data modeling projects Data retrieval time improvement Business intelligence report generation Dashboard creation support English Schema design Snowflake Database server management Production systems ETL process automation Business intelligence tools Integration Platforms (Enterprise solutions) SSIS Data analytics tools System tuning T-SQL Full Job Description Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain relational databases, schemas, and objects on Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Database Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and/or Azure Data Factory to move and transform data across systems Maintain and occasionally extend a small number of Azure Functions used in data movement and integration Develop scripts and automation (PowerShell, Python) for ETL, database maintenance, deployments, and monitoring tasks Tune, and troubleshoot database performance, including indexing strategy, query plans, and resource utilization Support database security, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery procedures in line with enterprise policy Build and maintain reports and dashboards using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI, including data model and DAX support for BI developers Document database designs, data flows, and standard operating procedures Other duties as assigned. Requirements 3+ years of experience developing and administering Microsoft SQL Server databases in a production environment Build ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS and Azure Data Factory, including feeds supporting marketing, personalization, and customer analytics platforms Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and/or Azure Data Factory for data integration and reporting Experience automating database tasks using PowerShell and/or Python Experience with Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse, or other Microsoft Azure data services Strong proficiency in T-SQL, including query optimization and performance tuning Working familiarity with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, report/dashboard development) Working knowledge of data modeling, normalization, and database design best practices Snowflake experience a plus Retail or eCommerce data experience a plus Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
