Job Description
Job Description We are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician to support hardware deployment, server installation, break/fix activities, and infrastructure operations in a high-availability data center environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with rack & stack, server hardware troubleshooting, structured cabling, and enterprise data center operations . Responsibilities Install, rack, and deploy servers, network switches, and related hardware. Perform rack & stack activities following rack elevation diagrams. Perform server hardware break/fix (RAM, SSD/HDD, PSU, NICs, server trays, etc.). Install, label, route, and manage fiber optic and copper cabling. Perform cable management and maintain patch panels. Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues. Support hardware refreshes, migrations, and infrastructure upgrades. Maintain accurate asset inventory and documentation. Update incidents and work orders using ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools. Work closely with engineering and operations teams to maintain high system availability. Required Skills 3+ years of Data Center Technician experience. Rack & Stack experience. Server installation and deployment. Hardware break/fix experience. Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, Lenovo, Cisco, or Supermicro server experience. Fiber optic and copper cabling.
