Job Description

Data Center Infrastructure Installation Technician Locations:
Dallas-Fort Worth, TX (must be willing to travel to Abilene, TC for 4-6 months) Contract-to-Hire!!
Start Date:
ASAP Overview We are seeking motivated installation technicians to support equipment installation and infrastructure deployment inside hyperscale data center environments . These roles are designed as long-term career opportunities supporting the installation and build-out of critical infrastructure systems within some of the largest data centers in the world . Technicians will gain experience working in hyperscale environments and will have opportunities to continue supporting projects regionally and nationally as infrastructure programs expand. This position is ideal for individuals with strong hands-on mechanical or construction backgrounds who want to transition into the rapidly growing data center industry . Work Schedule These facilities operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week . Shift Options Day Shift 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM Night Shift 6:30 PM - 6:00 AM Schedule Expectations Must be willing to work 6 days per week 12-hour shifts are standard Overtime opportunities are common due to project demand Responsibilities Technicians will support installation of data center infrastructure systems , including: Installation and assembly of Hot Aisle Containment systems Structural panel installation and alignment Measuring, leveling, and sequencing system components Mechanical assembly of containment and infrastructure components Supporting equipment installation within data center environments Working from installation diagrams and project instructions Maintaining strict data center safety and cleanliness standards Collaborating with team leads to meet project deadlines Ideal Background Candidates from hands-on skilled trades tend to excel in this role.
Relevant experience may include:
Carpentry (highly preferred) Commercial construction Plumbing installation Drywall installation Mechanical assembly Industrial installation work Equipment installation Rack and cabinet installation Individuals who are mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand and power tools are strongly encouraged to apply. Travel Opportunities Technicians should be open to regional travel with occasional national deployment opportunities supporting additional hyperscale data center projects. Tools & PPE Requirements Required Personal Protective Equipment Class C Type II Hard Hat (visor and chin strap recommended) Steel-toe or composite safety boots Safety glasses Work gloves Required Tools Wrenches Ratchet set Power drills Basic hand tools (Some PPE may be provided on site.) Pay:
