Their vertically integrated platform is supported by an extensive portfolio of grid-connected land and data centres across renewable-rich regions in North America. They are seeking an experienced Senior Design & Development Manager to report into the VP of Project Development & Delivery. This is a high-impact role focused on site origination, campus master planning, and front-end engineering—turning early-stage opportunities into build-ready projects. The successful candidate will lead campus-level design strategy, guide technical direction, and ensure projects align with business standards, scalability goals, and operational performance expectations. Key Responsibilities Lead site master planning and conceptual design for new data centre campuses Drive front-end engineering to ensure designs are scalable, buildable, and operationally efficient Translate development opportunities into technically robust, execution-ready plans Partner with development, engineering, innovation, and construction teams Manage external architectural and engineering consultants from concept through detailed design Ensure alignment with internal design standards, codes, and regulatory requirements Support due diligence, feasibility studies, and design standardisation initiatives Facilitate a smooth handover from development into delivery Requirements Approx. 10+ years' experience in data centres, mission-critical environments, or large-scale infrastructure design/development Background in engineering, architecture, or related discipline Experience with campus master planning and front-end design Strong understanding of data centre systems, constructability, and design standards Proven ability to manage consultants and cross-functional stakeholders Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Proficient with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar tools
