Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities Netezza Administration:
Perform NPS (Netezza Performance Server) administration, including grooming, Genstats, user management, and NzAdmin/NZMigrate tool usage.
Oracle Database Administration:
Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle 12c/19c/21c. Manage Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters), ASM (Automatic Storage Management), and Data Guard for high availability. DB2
Administration:
Administer DB2 LUW (Linux, Unix, Windows) or z/OS. Perform table space management, reorgs, runstats, and image copies.
Performance Tuning:
Perform end-to-end SQL tuning and system optimization across all three platforms.
Backup & Recovery:
Develop, test, and maintain automated backup/recovery strategies, ensuring strict RPO/RTO adherence.
Security & Compliance:
Implement database security policies, manage user permissions, and ensure compliance with auditing standards.
Scripting & Automation:
Automate repetitive DBA tasks using Shell scripting (Bash/Korn) or
Python Salary Range:
$80,000 to $125,000 per year
