Job Description
Data Center Specialist Loraine, TX Contract Supported hyperscale datacenter operations by managing onsite hardware lifecycle activities and ensuring reliable infrastructure availability. Installed, racked, configured, and deployed server and networking hardware across datacenter environments. Performed server tray swaps, hardware replacements, and break-fix activities in accordance with established operational procedures. Executed cable management tasks, including labeling, reseating, and replacing power, network, fiber, and copper cabling. Conducted visual inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve hardware and connectivity issues. Maintained accurate documentation of maintenance activities, asset inventories, and hardware changes within tracking systems. Responded to incidents and supported SLA-driven operations in 24/7 datacenter environments, including rotational and on-call support. Collaborated effectively with customers, vendors, partner teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operational support and service delivery.
