Data Center Technician:
The Technician will be responsible for performing structured cabling installations and server rack deployments in a data center environment. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a strong work ethic.

Technical training will be provided on the job; prior experience is not required. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work both independently and as part of a team under the direction of on-site Salute Leadership.
Dallas, TX Metro Site Specific Information:
Our team handles a wide range of technical projects, with a primary focus on rack Movements, decommissions, HAC repair, MOR, IDF and PRD Cabling, and
IDF/AZNG/RNG
Buildouts. We have multiple sites within the metro area and travel may be required to other sites. Travel is forecasted as needed but is typically 25% or less. Travel to other locations in the US may be required at times.
Responsibilities:
Install, route, and secure structured cabling according to project specificationsAssist with server rack deployments and related hardware setupFollow safety protocols andcompany procedures at all timesMaintain a clean and organized work environmentComplete tasks assigned by the Team Lead in a timely and accurate mannerSupport quality assurance efforts by adhering to installation standardsCommunicate clearly and respectfully with team members and supervisorsAbility to follow precise instructionsPerform material movement including shipping/receiving and inventory management per standard processPerform Data Center pre-cabling to industry standardsDetailed physical inventory tracking and stagingTimely responsiveness via MS Outlook, MS Teams, text, and/or phone
Requirements:
Knowledge of how to properlyutilizepower tools isrequiredAbility to read and understandcablingmapsAbility to work at different heights, in confined spaces, and on different surfacesAbility to use mobile application technologyProficientin Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Gainproficiencyin workplace IT systems for reporting, timecards, expense entry, and the execution of project tasks. ExamplesSalesForce, ADP, Expensify)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 40lbs.

Ability to climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs to access elevated equipmentAbility to stand forlong periodsof time in various work environmentsAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for equipment related tasksBasic physical fitness to respond quickly to emergency situations and navigate areas quicklyAbility to move quickly and efficiently withing various work environments to troubleshoot issues or respond to emergencies.

Travel Opportunities:

Compensation & Benefits DisclosureThe base salary range for this role is $26.00 per hour. This range reflects a goodfaith estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire, based on factors such as skills, experience, education, and market/location. Our comprehensive benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA), gym discount, mental health, Discounted Group Life & AD&D, Discounted Group Short & Long-term Disability, 401(k) retirement matching, PTO/paid holidays, and parental leave. Final compensation will be determined by jobrelated factors consistent with applicable law.
