Job Description

  • Job Summary
  • Adecco is seeking a Data Center Technician that will provide hands-on operational support across cabling, installation, inventory, equipment handling, and remote-hands functions within the data center.
This individual will assist with day-to-day technical tasks, maintain accurate inventory and labeling systems, support change activities, and collaborate with vendors to ensure a reliable and efficient data center environment. 2nd shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Monday-Friday, full-time)
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Cabling Services
  • + Install and remove fiber and copper cables inside and outside racks. + Perform cable labeling and maintain cabling inventory. + Provide incident support for low-voltage, fiber, and power cabling issues. + Assist with connectivity testing and basic cable diagnostics.
  • Installation Services
  • + Rack and stack equipment in the data center (excluding manufacturer-managed projects). + Manage horizontal and vertical space allocation within racks. + Connect equipment to PDUs and ensure proper electrical setup. + Label equipment and perform baseline installations to enable remote access.
  • Inventory & Asset Management
  • + Receive, ship, and move equipment within the data center and between areas. + Create and maintain assets within
  • Aperture Vista

  • . + Track internal materials such as cables, connectors, and PDUs. + Physically decommission equipment as needed.
  • Remote Hands Services
  • + Power equipment on/off within racks. + Observe and report equipment display or status indicators. + Provide guided console/terminal access to equipment. + Connect and disconnect cables and relocate equipment between rack positions. + Support change activities requiring remote-hands assistance. + Perform tape injection tasks as required.
  • Coordination & Cross-Functional Support
  • + Work closely with additional vendors and teams, including facilities, power, cooling, and operational partners, to support on-site activities and project needs.
  • Qualifications
  • + Experience in a data center, network operations, cabling, or hands-on IT environment is required!. + Ability to lift, move, and install hardware safely. + Strong attention to detail with labeling, documentation, and inventory accuracy. + Comfortable working with fiber/copper cabling, PDUs, and rack-mounted equipment. + Reliable, punctual, and able to work required shift hours.
  • Pay Details:
  • $20.
