Job Summary B&A is seeking a Database Administrator to support a federal government client in Northern Virginia. This is a full-time, on-site position. Salary Range:
$100,000 - $200,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, certifications, security clearance, and contract funding. This position is contingent upon contract award. Location On-site in Northern Virginia Responsibilities Designs and develop database schemas and objects by interpreting data models, creating logical/physical structures using standard diagramming techniques, and implementing/troubleshooting database code and changes.
Supports operation of complex relational databases across Linux and Windows environments.
Applies database security requirements and contributes to documented backup and recovery procedures.
Analyzes complex data and performance issues using logic, pattern recognition, and cost/benefit tradeoffs to deliver effective solutions.
Collaborates with stakeholders to meet service quality standards and customer needs.
Education and Experience Entry Level:
0-2 years of specialized experience
Journeyman:
2-4 years of specialized experience
Full Performance:
4-6 years of specialized experience
Senior Level:
6-8 years of specialized experience
Subject Matter Expert (SME): 8-12 years of specialized experience Desired Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline.
Relevant certifications in programming and development, cloud and infrastructure, architecture and design, or other related networking, cybersecurity, or technology disciplines. Security Clearance Active TS/SCI with an FS Poly adjudicated within the last five (5) years
