Description:
Agile5 Technologies is seeking a high-performing ETL Developer - SME to design, develop, and maintain complex data integration and software applications for a critical Federal Law Enforcement customer. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis, complex querying, data aggregation, and data visualization to implement advanced business intelligence and data warehousing solutions. These systems directly enable cyber professionals and investigators to effectively analyze case data and advance high-stakes national security investigations across multiple secure networks.
ETL Developer Subject Matter Expert Job Duties:
Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) mappings to extract data from disparate source systems, transform it according to complex business rules, and securely load it into target systems. Conduct advanced performance tuning of database queries, mappings, and data pipelines to ensure massive datasets are processed efficiently. Work actively across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirement gathering, architectural design, development, rigorous testing, and deployment. Write highly complex SQL statements, scripts, stored procedures, database triggers, and views to manipulate and clean structured and unstructured data. Implement enterprise business intelligence platforms and data warehousing solutions, driving industry best practices across the organization. Deploy, support, and maintain data architectures across a multi-enclave environment spanning Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret/SCI networks. Actively participate in Program Increments (PIs), Sprint Planning, and Agile Release Train (ART) activities to deliver iterative value. Collaborate with software engineers, cyber analysts, and federal stakeholders to ensure seamless data integration and system compatibility.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Active DoD Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph, Candidates must already possess this clearance level upon applying
Experience Requirements :
Requires 10-16 years of prior relevant experience, see education section below for more details. Expert-level proficiency with SQL and relational database technologies, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server. Strong operational experience within Agile/Scrum methodologies and scaled frameworks. Proven mastery over data management, big data technologies, data aggregation, and data visualization techniques. Professional experience utilizing Git for collaborative source code and version control management. Candidates must be able to work collaboratively and independently to develop creative solutions within a small team environment and possess strong communication skills.
Education Requirements :
Master's or Bachelor's Degree:
Minimum of 10 years of directly related software development/ETL engineering experience such as Computer Science, Data Science, or an Engineering field.
Associate Degree:
Minimum of 13 years of directly related experience.

High School Diploma /
GED:
Minimum of 16 years of directly related experience. Desired Skills /
Qualifications :
Experience writing data processing scripts using Python, JavaScript, or other programming languages. Familiarity with Elasticsearch or other enterprise-grade search and indexing platforms. Hands-on exposure to advanced data pipeline technologies and containerization basics using Docker. Experience developing data warehouses within cloud environments like Amazon Web Services (AWS).
