Open Systems Technologies is looking for a Postgres SME. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and expertise in all aspects of Postgres database administration and management. The Postgres SME will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, security, and optimization of our database systems to support our organization's data management goals.

Open Systems Technologies is looking for a Postgres SME. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and expertise in all aspects of Postgres database administration and management. The Postgres SME will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, security, and optimization of our database systems to support our organization's data management goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Design, deploy, and maintain high-performance Postgres database environmentsTroubleshoot and resolve database performance issuesImplement database security best practices and ensure data integrityDevelop and optimize SQL queries and stored proceduresCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database solutionsManage database backups and recovery proceduresStay current with industry trends and best practices in Postgres database technologyQualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldUS CitizenActive Secret Clearance RequiredPossession of Security+ or equivalentProven experience as a Postgres database administrator or SMEAdvanced knowledge of Postgres database administration, including configuration, tuning, and monitoringProficiency in SQL and PL/pgSQL programmingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesRelevant certifications (e.g., PostgreSQL Certified Professional) a plusBENEFITSOST
