Job Description
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must possess an active Top Secret (TS) clearance at the time of proposal submission and be able to attain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access by the issuance of the contract. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be willing to undergo and pass a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph. Must possess aMCSA:
SQL Server Certification. Must possess a Security+ Certification. Must obtain/retain a government background investigationmensurate with position requirements. Possessesmunication skills to effectively interface with military officials, managers, and subordinates. Expertise in Remedy/SQL database planning, architecture, design, and maintenance. Sufficient expertise in the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP), Army Intelligence, and Microsoft Office and Point to aplish assigned tasks. Results-focused mindset with strong critical thinking and analytical approaches to gather and use multiple sources of information.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provides administration and management of Remedy services across development, quality control, pre-production, and production environments. Performs database maintenance activities such as backup/recovery, updates to service packs and patches, and performance optimization. Ensures data recoverability by implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations. Performs daily, weekly, and monthly backups of the Remedy Database, its data, and hosts. Conducts periodic restoration tests of backed-up data and supports Disaster Recovery and incident response policies and procedures. Ensures the performance, integrity, and security of databases, monitoring user access and document workflow design. Maintains data standards (including adnce to the Data Protection Act) and writes database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and data dictionary definitions. Controls access permissions and privileges while developing and testing backup and recovery plans. Ensures all major database changes follow the agency Configuration Management Board (CMB) process with met milestones. Provides monthly database reports regarding SQL Server usage, uptime, and capacity to the COR/TTM. Plans daily activities within the guidelines ofpany policy, job description, and supervisor's instruction to maximize personal output. Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by thepany.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field and a minimum of eight (8) years' hands-on experience in Remedy administration, design, and development; OR a minimum of twelve (12) years' hands-on experience in Remedy administration, design, and development.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools,puter, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise withputers ers and light traffic.
