Data Center Technician, DCC Communities

Description This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the launch team for our new Fredericksburg, VA site! You'll be based primarily in Fredericksburg as we scale operations. During the initial phase, which could be several months, travel to Stafford, Louisa, and Manassas may be required to support operational needs and training while the Fredericksburg sites ramp up to full capacity. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion. We are looking for Data Center Technicians to join our rapidly expanding team. The position will help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels of data center operations. This position involves in-depth hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repair as well as participating in an on-call rotation. Key job responsibilities

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; and participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds
• Ability to work in an environment that operates 24/7 with an ability to participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed

• 1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
• 1+ years of computer networking experience
• High school or equivalent diploma
• Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds Preferred Qualifications
