Full Job Description Salary Statement:
Estimated Starting Salary Range:
USD $87,000.00/Yr. - USD $144,900.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
Description:
SRC is looking for a Database Administrator to provide technical support, assistance, and training for data management, interoperability, database design and development, data standardization and maintenance, data migration, web application software design and development, and EW data analysis/library content development in support of the Navy Information Operations Database (NIODB).
This support shall include:
Developing data architecture for NIODB support to legacy and emerging systems Supporting current programming languages such as C#, jQuery, JavaScript, JSON, and Angular while advising on new technologies and industry trends Supporting conversion of legacy data formats to modern and next‑generation formats such as CSV, XML, and JSON Supporting maintenance, security, and documentation of software installation and configuration baseline Supporting development and sustainment of NIODB workflow and quality assurance solutions in support of all information warfare data management functions and products Supporting network configuration managers, system administrators, and information system security professionals to understand and document development environment requirements Liaising with national and service organizations to incorporate new database formats into the Navy's authoritative database Supporting establishment and maintenance of an alternate NIODB site to sustain disaster recovery and continuity of operations Supporting testing, verification, and validation of data products and data management applications Supporting maintenance, development, documentation, and sustainment of surface electronic warfare training databases and libraries Supporting maintenance, development, documentation, and sustainment of next‑generation BLQ‑10B subsurface electronic support libraries Developing Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) and related documentation to support fleet requirements and related information operations capabilities Supporting project management employing Agile and sprints as an iterative approach to deliver products and services faster and with less rework

Requirements:
Active TS/SCI clearance required to start Five or more years of demonstrated experience with relational database management systems development with a preference for Oracle, including Simple Query Language (SQL), PL/SQL, and/or T-SQL Demonstrated experience in software application/database design to support development and maintenance of the

Demonstrated experience in the field of software development with specific prior performance in .NET desktop & web application development Demonstrated experience in the field of software development with specific prior performance Extensible Markup Language (XML) including the use of XML schemas and Extensible (XSLT) Stylesheet Language (XSLT) to support parsing and import of external data products to an Oracle Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) Demonstrated experience in software application/database design to support production of Subsurface EW threat libraries (i.e., SLQ-32, BLQ-10B) Demonstrated experience in software application/database design to support development/maintenance of the NIODB Desktop (stand-alone Candidate will require privileged access to development and production systems and must be
