Job Description Job Description:
  • Senior oracle DBA is responsible for designing and developing oracle databases that meet the business requirements and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge and familiarity with various tools and languages, such as
SQL, PL/SQL, SQL
  • Plus, SQL Developer, and RDBMS Modeling, Installing, patching, upgrading, configuring, and maintaining oracle binaries (database, CRS, OMS).
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining a backup solution for Oracle data.
  • Secure and harden the Oracle environment by implementing Oracle STIGs.
  • Developing and maintaining system documentation and workflow materials for applications.
  • Participating and planning system release cycles.
  • Monitoring database performance to ensure that it meets performance requirements.
  • Creating documentation for database design, development, and maintenance activities performed by developers.
  • Maintaining the safety and security of the Oracle systems and application to prevent unauthorized access and activities by upgrading network infrastructures.
  • Performing multiple diagnostic tests on the system to ensure stability and smooth navigations.
  • Assisting the end-users on troubleshooting issues.
  • Experience in Law Enforcement Database Systems.
  • Collaborate with developers to migrate secure data and ensure data integrity.
Required Skills and Experiences:
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in Oracle Database/SQL systems.
  • Must have minimum of ten years maintaining and supporting Oracle Systems in 24x7 operational environments.
  • Broad experience with virtualized environments, Experience in RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Operating systems and Oracle solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide an outstanding customer service experience in supporting enterprise Oracle infrastructure.
  • Position requires minimum of Security Plus; Position shall meet the requirements of an IAT II per the DoD 8570.01-M.
  • This position requires the person(s) to be eligible and adjudicated to TS/SCI clearance level at contract start.
