A Data Center Technician or Engineer organizes data access, maintenance and access support to a data center. Maybe help to store and organize data, such as an organization's records or financial information. Ensures that users can easily access the information they need and that data are protected from unauthorized access.
We are supporting an opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to help maintain critical building operations in a fast-paced environment. Our team is seeking someone who can follow established procedures, respond to issues quickly, and contribute to safe, reliable daily operations across facilities and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily rounds and readings, monitor equipment, and document maintenance activities and issues in a consistent manner. Support mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing tasks, including routine checks, troubleshooting, minor repairs, and basic maintenance. Assist with building operations by monitoring work orders, supporting contractors, and helping with inspections, grounds tasks, and general facility upkeep. Follow MOPs, SOPs, EOPs, and site safety requirements while working across multiple sites, shifts, weekends, overtime, and on-call schedules as needed.
Required:
Must be able to work in a critical environment and follow strict methods of procedure, standard operating procedures, and emergency operating procedures. Must have general knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing skills and be able to apply them to a wide variety of challenges. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, use ladders, and work at heights not exceeding 30 feet in a safe and reliable manner. Must be available for overtime, on-call coverage, diverse shifts, weekends, and work at different sites as required; must own a reliable method of transportation.
