Job Description Travel Data Center Technician - Low Voltage & Structured Cabling Travel Throughout Indiana, Texas, Oklahoma & Louisiana Next Level Technician is urgently hiring Travel Data Center Technicians for long-term mission critical and data center projects across Indiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled low voltage professionals looking to travel, gain consistent work, and support high-profile commercial and data center installations. Earn competitive pay while working on large-scale structured cabling and fiber optic projects across multiple regions. What You'll Do Install, terminate, label, and test structured cabling systems in data center environments Pull and route copper and fiber optic cabling Install ladder rack, basket tray, J-hooks, and cable management systems Assist with data center buildouts and infrastructure installations Terminate and test Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling Read and interpret: Blueprints Floor plans Rack elevations Riser diagrams Maintain clean and organized work areas while following customer and project standards Troubleshoot cabling and connectivity issues as needed Work alongside Foremen, Project Managers, and other field technicians to meet project deadlines Follow OSHA and customer-specific safety requirements at all times What You Bring Experience in structured cabling, low voltage, or data center environments preferred Experience with copper and fiber optic cabling installations Familiarity with commercial construction and mission critical job sites Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to travel Ability to work independently and as part of a team OSHA 10 Certification preferred BICSI Certification is a plus Reliable transportation to and from project meet-up locations Travel & Schedule Extensive travel required throughout Indiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana Hotel accommodations and travel assistance may be provided based on project Work schedules may vary based on project demands Overtime, nights, weekends, and extended shifts may be available Why Work with Next Level Technician?
