$62,900.53 to $103,464.79 POSITION SUMMARY The North Little Rock School District (NLRSD) is seeking exceptional applications for the leadership position of Coordinator of Accountability, Assessment, and Data Management. This newly reorganized role is to serve as the liaison between the Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and the school system. The coordinator is responsible for the coordination of all federal and state-mandated testing, local assessments, and all related information and activities, in addition to conducting research in conformance with the new NLRSD strategic plan. The primary work of the coordinator will ensure a high level of instructional leadership to create systems, structures, processes, and procedures to eliminate gaps in student learning through equity practices. Through a lens of equity, structures, culture, and leadership, provides supervision of the general operation of assessment programs with a focus on improved student performance and building professional capacity of classroom teachers and school-based leaders. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Coordinator of Accountability, Assessment, and Data Management responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Serves as a member of the Executive Director of Curriculum Innovation and Design leadership team. Manage all accountability matters for NLRSD with respect to state and local assessment requirements. Monitors for compliance and fulfillment of all requirements associated with the Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA), American College Test (ACT), ACT Aspire, Advanced Placement (AP). Investigate and report all testing irregularities on state assessments to the State Test Security Officer. Manage the training and monitoring of all school test coordinators in NLRSD. Ensure that sanctions recommended by the State Test Administration and Security Committee have been addressed for staff members that have been involved in testing irregularities and/or violations. Manage and document fee waivers provided through (DESE) for the Advanced Placement Tests (AP). Negotiate contracts with the College Board for Accuplacer and PSAT. Provide reporting and applications related to all achievement assessment data. Prepare, supervise, create, and compile electronic data, testing files and reports for district, state, and federal reporting requirements. Supervise the creation of online assessments (OLA) and answer key and scan sheet generation using district-created test items aligned to testing blueprints to ensure curricular alignment. Apply knowledge management strategies to collect and manage pertinent and useful data, analyze the data to create knowledge and develop insights, interpret and report the data, and maximize the use of data in a continuous improvement process. Provide statistical analysis and interpretation of results obtained from state, county, and school level tests administered to students, giving attention to the use of these results for the improvement of instruction to board members, administrators, teachers, and parents. Coordinate the administration, scoring, and distribution of data and student reports for the CogAT assessments. Transform raw data into high-quality graphs and customized reports. Conduct statistical research at the request of the Superintendent or Deputy Superintendent to improve learning outcomes for all students while targeting strategies to close achievement gaps specifically for African American, English Learner (EL), Free and Reduced Meals (FARMS), and Special Education students. Knowledge of the IBM SPSS
Statistical Software program preferred. Coordinate, with other curriculum coordinators and supervisory personnel, the implementation of assessment and accountability programs for the North Little Rock School District. Define data requirements and design databases to satisfy internal and external user requirements. Develop detailed design documentation for the system using charts and diagrams that indicate the various steps involved and describe the system in ways the user can understand. Work with curriculum coordinators to update procedures and the schedule for local benchmark and common assessments while providing direct support to curriculum and assessment writing teams. Work closely with School-Based Leadership Teams, School Improvement Teams, Professional Learning Communities, Teacher Teams, and instructional staff to translate district and school data into actionable strategies to improve teaching and learning. Remain knowledgeable of current technology and data reporting requirements, and obtain training as necessary to support technology functions. Disseminate information regarding assessment initiatives to appropriate staff as needed. Maintain database for collection and calculation of Teacher Excellence and Support System (TESS) and Leader Excellence and Development System (LEADS) Data. Provide training and assistance to principals and assistant principals on (TESS) databases. Submits TESS and LEADS and other reports to DESE. Implement ongoing professional development at the school and district level to deepen data analysis skills to improve teaching and learning. Monitor student achievement and report on results to various stakeholders. Ensure courses and/or programs are implemented with equity, alignment, and engagement. Assists the Deputy Superintendent and Executive Director of Curriculum Innovation and Design in implementing the Superintendent's E4 the Future District Transformation Model vision aimed to create innovative schools in new or creative ways to existing instructional and administrative practices that are intended to improve academic performance and learning for all students. Perform other related work as required and directed by the Executive Director of Curriculum Innovation and Design. COMPETENCIES

Knowledge and understanding of all policies and procedures of the NLRSD. Ability to conceptualize, initiate, monitor, and evaluate new and/or current curricular programs. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed Arkansas District Level Administrator (P-12) or meets qualifications and requirements for reciprocity or is eligible to hold appropriate licensure. Licensed Curriculum Program Administrator (P-12) preferred. Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a field related to job duties and responsibilities preferred. Have a minimum of five (5) years' teaching or related experience. Experience as a school-based administrator is preferred. Have a minimum of eight (8) years' of successful job performance in education including teaching, supervision, and leadership preferred. Experience with educational accountability measures including federal educational reform efforts, and state and local standards and assessments, knowledge of systemic organizational thinking, organizational leadership, and change management. Experience working in a highly collaborative environment where teamwork, creative problem solving, and self-motivation are necessary for success. Experience in an urban school district is preferred. Work is primarily conducted in an office or school setting. Prolonged stationary work and attention to desk or computer tasks are required. This position is cognitively demanding and requires especially well-developed professional social skills and communication skills.
