SCHEDULE
: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. May work between 20 to 40 hours per week. This hourly position provides support for articulation, transfer, and curriculum-related activities. Duties include maintaining records and databases, reviewing and reconciling course and program information, and assisting campus offices and external institutions with curriculum and transfer documentation. The role helps ensure that course and transfer information is accurate, up-to-date, and organized.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
Provide support in the development, updating, and maintenance of articulation and transfer agreements with colleges, universities, and statewide academic agencies; review, verify, and reconcile agreements for accuracy; make recommendations and prepare necessary summaries, analyses, and pertinent documentation for the Articulation Officer's review and approval; maintain required documentation and files. Research, verify, evaluate, and reconcile data pertaining to new and revised course and curricular program detail; prepare curricular summaries and reports and/or edit documentation and publications to reflect curricular changes affecting transferable courses and various academic degree programs; compile, reconcile, and edit transferable course lists and other pertinent transfer/major advisement information and documentation. Support the articulation officer in maintaining the electronic database of all articulation agreements in accordance with established policies, procedures, laws, and codes Provide support to the Curriculum & Catalog Office in maintaining accurate records for the curriculum database and catalog. Provides support on variety of ASSIST curriculum reports reflecting all College transferable course data. Develop and maintain articulation and related curriculum files and documents in accordance with established policies, procedures, laws, and codes. Review Curriculum Committee minutes throughout the curriculum building cycle; stay abreast of curricular revisions that affect transferable courses. Review and check college curriculum system reports to make sure the details and codes for all transferable courses are correct. Look closely at the course information and report any mistakes, differences, or problems. Reviews college and transfer institution college catalogs and course outlines to determine and recommend equivalencies for articulation; assemble faculty-generated Board approved course outlines; transmit to appropriate college and university offices, and other academic agencies as required to facilitate articulation review and approvals. Operate a computer terminal and specific software to input, delete, retrieve, and verify data, maintain records and files, and generate reports, lists, and other materials. Provides support in reviewing and correcting of curriculum and maintenance of the College's Local General Education, California General Education Transfer Curriculum (Cal-GETC), CSU General Education, and Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) certification agreements, UC Transfer Course Agreement, and the College's "Transfer Guarantee and Priority Admissions" agreements with transfer institutions in adherence with system-wide policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Familiarity with educational systems and programs in California (e.g., community colleges, CSU/UC transfer systems). Knowledge of Articulation processes and transfer agreements (e.g., CSU, UC systems, IGETC, and ASSIST databases). Effective written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, summaries, and correspondence.
