JOB SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, the District Data and Reporting Manager is responsible for the accurate and timely submission of all state and federal data reports on behalf of East Grand School District 2. This position serves as the data reports on behalf of East Grand School District 2. This position serves as the district's primary point of contact for Colorado Department of Education (CDE) data reporting systems and student and staff information management. The Data and Reporting Manager works collaboratively with administrators, counselors, registrars, and school secretaries across all buildings to ensure the integrity and accuracy of student and staff data. Additionally, the Data and Reporting Manager supports human resources work within the district office.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
District-Level State and Federal Reporting
  • Coordinate and submit all CDE data submissions and reporting requirements on behalf of the district. Serve as the district's primary contact for the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) data submissions and respond to data verification requests and error resolution. Student Information System
  • manages and maintains the district's Student Information System (SIS), ensuring Data accuracy and system integrity. Support School Staff
  • Collaborate with school registrars, administrators, and secretaries to ensure consistent and complaint data entry practices district-wide. Provide training and technical assistant to school staff on SIS use, data entry standards, and reporting timelines. Assessments
  • Support the administration of state and local assessments, including
CMAS, PSAT/SAT, ACCESS
for ELLs, and other assessment platforms. Employee Fingerprinting and Licensure Verification
  • Retrieves fingerprint and arrest records through CBI and FBI.
Verifies fingerprint and arrest records via the
CDE COOL
system for licensed employees. Human Resources System Support
  • Maintains employee information and security settings in district platforms. Assists staff in human resources related support including background checks, reference checks, and paperwork compliance. General District Office Support
  • Backs up the District Office Manager by answering phones and greeting guests.
Provides fee balance and Free/Reduced status information to parents and guardians. Sends parent and/or student communications via the Alma broadcast system. Travels to other school sites with inter-district mail or deliveries as needed. Picks up mail at the Post Office when needed. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED
High school diploma or equivalent required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace; demonstrated ability to learn and navigate multiple web-based data systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality. Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously and maintain organized records. Ability to handle confidential student and staff information with discretion and in compliance with FERPA and applicable state law. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain required fingerprint clearance.
PREFERRED
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in business administration, information systems, education, or a related field. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in data management, reporting, or administrative support, preferably in an educational or public sector setting. Experience with CDE reporting systems, including the Student Interchange, RITS, Infinite Campus, Alma, Aptafund, TalentEd, or similar platforms. Demonstrated experience with a Student Information System (SIS) (Alma, Infinite Campus, Powerschool, or similar). Experience with food service program administration, including Free/Reduced and Direct Certification processes. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
