Months Job Description:
We are seeking a Lead Cloud Data Engineer with 8+ years of experience to drive database modernization, manage high-performance OLTP platforms, and lead enterprise analytics architecture.
Core Requirements Relational Databases:
8+ years with AWS Aurora PostgreSQL (RDS), database design, performance tuning to millisecond response, high availability, and replication.
Data Warehousing:
4+ years with Snowflake building enterprise analytics platforms.
Data Engineering:
Hands-on experience with Python, Talend (job design/orchestration), and AWS EMR to build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
Architecture & Migration:
Strong background in cloud migration, distributed databases, data modeling, and API integration.
Data Governance:
Understanding of metadata management, data cataloging, and data lineage.
Development Skills:
Strong SQL skills and foundational Java experience.
Operations & Leadership Production Support:
Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, ServiceNow).
Leadership:
Proven ability to mentor teams, drive technical strategy, and lead discussions with business stakeholders.
Tools:
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and technical documentation. Preferred Qualifications AWS and Snowflake certifications. Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native architectures.
