Ankura's Risk Advisory group, specifically the Forensic Data & Analytics (FDA) team, focuses on high-profile investigations, regulatory compliance, and financial crimes. Role Overview:

The Director is a pivotal leadership role requiring a blend of technical mastery and strategic business acumen. You will oversee project workstreams, manage project teams, and act as a primary point of contact for clients.

You will have direct exposure to diverse, challenging projects with significant business and legal impact. This role will be hybrid based out of one of our locations in NYC, DC, or Chicago.

Responsibilities:

+ Oversee entire project workstreams and ensure rigorous quality control across all deliverables. + Manage and mentor project teams, providing guidance on analysis and fostering professional development. + Lead client presentations and manage interactions with lawyers, regulators, and C-suite audiences. + Master \"data storytelling\" by translating complex financial and technical findings into persuasive narratives. + Support Practice Leaders in strategic growth initiatives and the development of new service offerings.

Requirements:

+ 4-5+ years of experience in investigations, litigation, or regulatory compliance projects. + 4-6 + years of experience using SQL and Python, preferably with additional experience in Tableau, Power BI, R, and / or cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g., Databricks, BigQuery , etc.) + Proven track record of leading teams and managing complex client expectations. + Strong business acumen paired with advanced technical proficiency in SQL and Python. + Exceptional communication and presence, with the ability to articulate complex ideas with confidence , to both internal and external stakeholders . + Highly adaptable and able to thrive in an environment that demands \"Collaborative Lateral Thinking.\" + Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
