Jog Road, WPB 34584 Responsible entry-level technical and administrative work involved in the management, maintenance, planning, and coordination of departmental records. Work involves handling inventory, distribution, and quality control of a Department's records, and a central scanning and filing system. Assists in providing customer service to the public and internal staff, responding to public records requests, processing electronic and physical documents, and ensuring compliance with County and State Records Management policies. Work also involves independent technical review of records ranging from basic to moderately complex. Work is performed under the direction of an administrative superior and is reviewed through conferences, reports, and observation of results attained.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires qualified applicants to possess the following: Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of one (1) year of responsible office experience, which includes six (6) months of experience in a records management operation for a government agency, or a private organization.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred qualifications include: Experience working with building plans, Experience with records research, Experience maintaining a computerized, centralized filing system, Data entry and retrieval experience, and Customer service experience in person, over the telephone, and/or via email (must specify on application) .
