Job Description Provides a variety of records support functions; reviews and processes documents; determines and explains compliance with laws, rules, regulations and policies and takes appropriate action; maintains a manual or computerized records system; performs related work. The position maintains confidential records, processes testing documentation, supports daily testing operations, and assists students, faculty, staff, vendors, and community members with testing services. This position is not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time. Candidates who already hold valid U.S. work authorization may be considered. Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and process testing records, documentation, and reports while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with institutional policies, vendor requirements, and testing standards.
  • Support secure exam administration by verifying candidate eligibility, monitoring testing procedures, documenting irregularities, and maintaining test security protocols.
  • Maintain computerized records systems, scheduling platforms, spreadsheets, and testing databases with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist with testing room preparation, test material handling, inventory control, and operational readiness.
  • Provide professional customer service and explain testing procedures, scheduling processes, accommodations, and policies to students, faculty, staff, vendors, and community members.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders regarding testing services, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with scheduling, reporting, correspondence, and other administrative support functions.
  • Research and resolve routine problems using independent judgment and established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidential and sensitive information in accordance with FERPA and testing security standards.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationships with diverse populations.
  • Utilize standard office software and learn specialized testing and records management systems.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience:
  • Monitoring a records system to identify and correct errors.
  • Researching a variety of sources to resolve problems.
  • Interpreting, explaining and applying regulations, laws, or complex policies to carry out assignments.
  • Entering and retrieving data using a computerized records system. Specialty Requirements
  • Some positions at ISU may require one or both of the following:
  • Some knowledge of medical terminology and the general benefits of Medicaid, Medicare and major insurance companies.
  • Experience working with sensitive or restricted data.
Additional Information ISU minimum for this classification is $17.25/hour, commensurate with education and experience. To be considered for this opportunity, apply on or before June 3, 2026.
