Job Summary:

Required experience 6-7+ years of strong hands-on Databricks experience Approximately 3+ years working in a Data Architect / technical architecture capacity Must remain hands-on technically - this is not a high-level architecture/management role Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud data platforms Pharma/life sciences experience strongly preferred Consulting/client-facing experience preferred Technical requirements Deep hands-on Databricks PySpark / Spark AWS cloud data environment Data ingestion, transformation, orchestration and automation End-to-end data architecture and pipeline design Production-grade data platform experience DBT exposure/experience Snowflake experience is a plus Ability to establish architecture/design standards and conduct technical/design reviews Ability to guide data engineers while still contributing hands-on Client-facing / culture requirements Excellent communication skills - this is a major requirement Strong customer-service/client mindset Positive attitude Excellent listener; does not interrupt or talk over others Able to read the room and adjust communication appropriately Able to communicate technical concepts so both technical and business stakeholders understand Comfortable operating as a trusted technical advisor with leadership
