Description The Enterprise Data Manager leads the business-facing governance, quality, and enablement model for enterprise data. This role establishes clear ownership, improves the reliability of critical data, prioritizes data and analytics demand, and expands responsible use of trusted reporting and self-service analytics.

Job Details Role Specific Responsibilities:

Lead and mature the enterprise data governance framework, including standards, policies, decision rights, governance forums, and exception management.

Establish and support the Functional Data Expert network, with clear expectations for data ownership, stewardship, accountability, and escalation.

Provide project management leadership for the Functional Data Expert (FDE) team, including defining workplans and deliverables, coordinating requirements and resources, managing priorities, dependencies, risks, and timelines, and ensuring actions are completed and expected outcomes are delivered.

Define critical data elements, business definitions, data quality rules, scorecards, and remediation plans in partnership with business and IT teams.

Evaluate and prioritize data and analytics requests based on business value, risk, strategic importance, feasibility, and the opportunity to reuse existing solutions.

Guide enterprise data definitions, hierarchies, reference data, metadata, report rationalization, and certification of trusted data products and reporting.

Drive the use and increase the adoption of trusted, governed data and self-service reporting by establishing clear standards and improving data literacy through communication, training, and ongoing user support.

Translate business needs into clear outcomes, requirements, acceptance criteria, and adoption plans for technical delivery teams.

Measure and report data quality, adoption, issue resolution, reuse, stakeholder satisfaction, and realized business value.

Qualifications/Desired Skills Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field

Experience:

Significant technical knowledge, with specific ability to apply knowledge to business process solutions. 5-7 years of professional experience, working in IT operations, and overseeing information technology projects Coordinate teams and resources located globally while facilitating multiple time zones Self-motivator who can run with tasks and projects on their own

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and priorities Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to flex own style as needed to influence and drive results Displayed high levels of flexibility and adaptability Proven experience developing and implementing creative solutions Display bias for action and ability to complete projects Self-motivated and ability to work within a fast-paced environment Critical thinking skills and analytical abilities which allow assessments of situations and opportunities Good knowledge of enterprise project management principles Proficient in Microsoft office applications such as Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc. Experience in Microsoft Project, Point, Visio, and SAP preferred.
