ABOUT OMI INDUSTRIES

With over 30 years of expertise, OMI is the world leader in manufacturing natural odor eliminating solutions for industrial, commercial, and consumer applications. We are looking for a motivated Inventory Data Coordinator to join our growing team!
JOB PURPOSE
To ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data within the ERP system through timely entry, maintenance, and validation of transactional and master data. This role supports daily operations by maintaining clean, reliable system records, identifying discrepancies, and enabling efficient execution across inventory, supply chain, and administrative functions.
SCHEDULE
Work Hours:
Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY
Conduct cycle counts periodically for all departments within OMI Industries, ensuring inventory accuracy and identifying discrepancies Assist in item setups and updates in NetSuite to maintain accurate and efficient system records. Understand and assist in GS1/UPC certification, including assigning and maintaining accurate UPC codes. Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory tracking, reduce shrinkage, and enhance operational efficiency. Create and monitor reports on inventory accuracy, adjustments, and stock levels. Assist with internal and external inventory audits procedures for ISO. Assist with ERP System data entry, and lead inventory report out meetings. Analyze Inventory Levels, Reorder Points, and assist in Supply Chain planning. Maintains a safe, clean working environment. Complete new employee and annual safety training. Clean up work area according to procedures. Follow 5S methodology. Participate in quality and continuous improvement efforts. Participates in huddles. Participates in improvement meetings. Chemical exposure to raw materials including plant oils, fragrances, and other materials will occur. Required onsite Forklift Certification. Continually required to stand. Frequently required to walk. Occasionally, required to sit. Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity. Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl. Continually required to talk or hear. Frequently/required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds. Occasionally exposure to wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather). Continually work near moving mechanical parts. Occasionally exposure to outside weather conditions. Occasionally loud noise (examples: metal can manufacturing, large earth-moving equipment).
