Job Summary Responsible for establishing and maintaining efficient cancer registry operations. Registers and follows patients with malignancy diagnoses to ensure accurate data collection. Retrieves and analyzes registry data to support clinical and administrative needs. Disseminates data in accordance with professional ethics and organizational guidelines. Serves as staff to the Cancer Committee by coordinating cancer program activities. Essential Functions

  • Retrieves data from designated sources as required.
  • Cuts, copies, and transfers data accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensures data integrity during retrieval and transfer processes.
  • Monitors and resolves issues related to data access or transfer.
  • Maintains confidentiality and security of all data handled.
  • Collaborates with team members to support data management needs.
  • Documents data retrieval activities according to procedures.
  • Adheres to organizational policies and protocols for data handling.
  • Participates in training and stays updated on data management tools.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education Requirement High school diploma or equivalent experience Experience Requirement 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.
