POSITION SUMMARY
This is an administrative support service position responsible for program data systems, reports, and analysis. This position recommends changes and improvements to data systems and troubleshoots system problems. This position provides training and technical assistance to program staff and serves as the liaison with the system developers.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a High School diploma or GED. A degree in computer science or related work experience is preferred. Experience with Child Plus software is desired.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

PLUS AND OTHER DATA SYSTEMS
Provide planned group trainings, individual computer training and technical assistance to staff by telephone or center visit as needed. Provide training to new staff in consultation with Supervisor. Attend service area staff meetings as requested to instruct staff or answer data questions and facilitate user groups as needed. Ensure that all staff are informed of upgrades and how upgrades affect data entry and reporting. Diagnose and troubleshoot system problems in a timely manner. Contact technical assistance for guidance when problems arise and report findings or information to Supervisor in a timely manner. Participate in management team staff meetings and meet with management staff as requested to resolve data issues. Complete the annual setup, maintenance, and purging of Child Plus records. Complete and submit the Program Information Report in a timely and accurate manner. Attend data trainings as needed to be able to fully utilize the system within the agency. Carry out other related duties as requested by the Supervisor. Supervise and implement program goals, policies, and activities in accordance with annual program plans, state and federal standards, and other quality initiatives. Support the implementation of program activities to enhance school readiness and meet identified school readiness goals. Serve as an advocate for low-income and at-risk children and families within the program and community. Establish and maintain a working relationship with local school district personnel, medical providers, local community agencies and partners. Participate in community groups to improve services to our families. Positively promotes Murray Head Start within the school district and community.
ONGOING MONITORING AND DATA ANALYSIS
Participate in the evaluation of program services, goals and objectives. Provide program-wide data summaries for self-assessment analysis as requested. Assist the Head Start Director in writing improvement plans for needs identified through self-assessment. Coordinate the distribution and analysis of program surveys. Oversee preparation of the annual Community Assessment or updates as required by regulations and analyze the results.
