Job Description

The School Information Coordinator is a full-time position assisting the CEO in coordinating an online statewide student reporting app with an established public safety nonprofit. If you enjoy building a resource that can have a positive influence in our student's lives, this job may be for you. This position will help introduce the resource and recruit new school systems to our program. They will also coordinate information teams within our agency network, schools, law enforcement, and behavioral health liaisons to support the online custom App and when necessary, provide presentations to school communities on the services. This position will also coordinate with a statewide governmental agency concerning the resource.
Responsibilities:
Working directly under the CEO and as a member of our School/Education team, will coordinate with designated school teams, law enforcement and other service providers using a custom mobile app platform for the receipt and distribution of anonymous student "tips." Key duties will include: Training and becoming experienced in this software platform. Tip taking, Distribution, Dispositions, management of crisis situations. Vetting information received and forwarding to educational, law enforcement and mental health service providers. Training with on boarding school contact data into the platform and working with schools/partnering agencies to set up their teams and training on the use of the app. Marketing this free resource to schools. Assistance with the development of related school and teen safety content to post on related social media channels and website. Serving as a point of contact along with the CEO to partnering agencies on the Safe School program and attending meetings, etc. when requested.
Skills Required:
Exceedingly organized with the ability to prioritized multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail. Communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing and thinking under pressure. The ability to handle sensitive information discretely and professionally. Microsoft Office, Google Apps, Apple Developer (a plus), Word press and/or website management skills required. The candidate must have solid computer knowledge, particularly in an online environment. Experience working with middle and high school students will be given priority. Prior experience working in an educational or public safety agency is preferred. Call center or 911 experience is also a plus. Public speaking/sales or teaching skills. The ability to develop and grow relationships through professionalism and integrity with our educational, law enforcement, government officials, and our stakeholders.
Requirements:
Possess either a college degree, two-year college courses, or extensive work-related experience. Commissioned law enforcement will be given priority. Sales experience is also a plus! $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
