Overview Foxborough Regional Charter School District (FRCS) is a unique and diverse school serving students from across Southeastern Massachusetts. Approximately 1500 students and families come from urban and suburban communities and represent various backgrounds, ethnicities, and experiences. Job Summary We are seeking an Educational Data Assessment & Analytics Coordinator to coordinate systems and support teachers and administrators in using data to drive instruction and improve outcomes. This newly created position is part of the teaching and learning team and will prioritize ongoing collaboration, coaching, and timely problem-solving within the district's complex educational systems. The Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring that data systems and assessment practices comply with DESE requirements and are accessible, meaningful, practical, and useful to educators. The Coordinator will help build staff capacity by fostering strong relationships and modeling how to analyze student performance data to support assessment, including MCAS, literacy assessments, and other interim assessments. In collaboration with school leaders, the Coordinator will serve as the central point of ownership for districtwide systems for student information, assessment, evaluation, and data reporting. A strong on-site presence, the ideal candidate will bring a deep educational background, the ability to create trusting relationships with all stakeholders, and a well-developed instructional lens, and, by proactively identifying needs, will work in close partnership with the Teaching and Learning team to advance this work with clarity and purpose, with high-quality data practices across the district. Reporting to the Director of Teaching and Learning, this role is a key member of the district leadership structure and collaborates closely with school leaders, instructional teams, and operations staff. The Coordinator ensures that systems are accurate, compliant, and coherent, and that leaders have the data and tools needed to inform instructional decision-making and continuous improvement. Job Responsibilities Systems Leadership and Data Coherence Oversees and aligns district systems related to student information, assessment, evaluation, and reporting Ensures consistency, accuracy, and accessibility of data across all schools Builds coherent systems that support instructional improvement, compliance, and operational efficiency Collaborates with school and district leaders to ensure alignment across platforms and practices Provides Professional Development on both platforms and data Student Registrar Manages and maintains the district student information system Ensures data entry alignment and coherence practices Ensures data accuracy and consistency across buildings Provides system support, troubleshooting, and guidance to staff Generates key reports, including attendance, grades, and subgroup performance Assessment Leadership and Coordination Leads coordination of all district and state assessments, including but not limited to MCAS and MAP Manages logistics, timelines, training, and compliance requirements Serves as liaison with DESE and external assessment vendors Ensures accurate and efficient administration of assessments across schools Evaluation Systems Management Manages the district educator evaluation platform Ensures compliance with timelines, documentation, and DESE requirements Supports alignment to theMA DESE 2024
Teacher Rubric Generates reports to support leadership oversight and decision-making Behavior and Discipline Systems Oversees the use of behavior tracking and reporting systems Ensures consistency and accuracy in data entry and usage Supports school leaders in analyzing behavior trends to inform decisions Data Reporting and Analysis Develops and maintains district and school-level data reports Analyzes trends in academic performance, attendance, and behavior Supports school leaders in using data to guide instructional and operational decisions Strengthens the use of data within collaborative team structures Collaboration and Leadership Alignment Works closely with principals, instructional leaders, and district teams Supports alignment to the FRCS Instructional Vision and Strategic Plan Ensures leaders have consistent, reliable data to guide improvement efforts Contributes to building a district-wide culture of data-informed decision-making Minimum Qualifications Required Massachusetts licensure as a Principal/Assistant Principal preferred Demonstrated experience with student information systems and data management Experience coordinating large-scale assessments (e.g., MCAS, MAP, SAT) Strong understanding of educator evaluation systems and DESE requirements Ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate data effectively Experience delivering data and platform professional developments Strong organizational and project management skills Experience working with diverse student populations and communities Commitment to equity, inclusion, and data-informed instructional improvement Core Competencies Systems thinking and organizational design Data analysis and interpretation Compliance and regulatory knowledge Cross-functional collaboration Attention to detail and executionWork Environment & Physical Requirements:
The majority of work is performed in a school or classroom environment, which usually has a moderate noise level. Regular attendance is necessary; absences should be rare and in alignment with district attendance and punctuality standards.Physical Requirements:
