full-time Commissioning / CX Quality Manager Data Center Construction | Boston, MA (future US Wide travel required) Our client, an Employee Owned General Contractor , is looking for an experienced Commissioning / CX Quality Manager to support the delivery of complex mission-critical and data center projects across the United States. This role will lead commissioning and quality assurance activities from preconstruction through project turnover, ensuring critical building systems are installed, tested, and commissioned to the highest standards. Responsibilities Lead commissioning activities from planning through project completion. Oversee Factory Witness Testing (FWT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), Functional Performance Testing (FPT), and Integrated Systems Testing (IST). Verify installation quality and compliance with design, specifications, and commissioning requirements. Integrate commissioning into quality planning, DFOWs, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). Conduct field inspections, manage deficiencies, and support issue resolution. Coordinate with owners, commissioning agents, design teams, and subcontractors. Support system turnover, operational readiness, and owner acceptance. Mentor project teams on commissioning and quality best practices. Requirements 5+ years' experience in mission-critical or data center construction. Background in commissioning, quality management, or MEP systems. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, UPS, generators, mechanical cooling systems, BMS/EPMS, and integrated systems testing. Familiarity with TIA-942, Uptime Institute standards, ASHRAE guidelines, and Procore is preferred.
